Cut It Out!
Tuesday, September 14, 2010

I’m kind of in awe of these amazing, ornate, customized paper cut-outs by Made by Julene.

They have that old-fashioned sampler feel, but are so whimsical and modern.

She hand cuts any sort of design, words, portraits - anything you come up with to commemorate your wedding, anniversary, or big
Picture Yourself

I met this lady, Cori Dantini, at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver, CO.

Letterpress printing is decidedly lovely - the texture, the vintage look - it’s so clean and pretty!

They can also look pretty similar.

I did find a few that are a bit further outside of the box.

I really like Sycamore Street Press designer Eva Jorgensen’s atypical Scandinavian folk style.
